Written judicial discourse: mechanisms of discursive interaction between the author and the reader

چکیده

In this article, the author examines written judicial discourse of Great Britain. The subject study is law report – a brief on decision, published in open sources and collections. These texts record most important decisions highest courts. A detailed legal analysis interpretation applicable court decision take form compact, concise text, with an accurate consistent presentation court's arguments. reports are example modern language, which principles norms common updated again again. As unit discourse, is, one hand, complex speech act, other it text that carries certain rhetorical (pragmatic) impact reader. Using method linguistic analysis, analyzes representation event during argumentation identifies various discursive mechanisms interaction between believes such characteristics can be divided into retrospective prospective, depending their particular, functional status pragmatic significance phenomena as indirect speech, subordinate clauses, verbs epistemic modality. According to author, significantly complement intertextuality (dialogicity) accordingly expand our understanding formation influence context.
